Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and our independent clinical placement service for University of South Alabama (USA) nurse practitioner students. By using our site or engaging our service, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully, because they explain what we do, what we do not promise, and how payment works.
Tell us your USA track and city. No payment until your preceptor and site are confirmed.
Are you the University of South Alabama or CCNE?
No. USA's programs are CCNE accredited by the university, not by us, and USA's CAPS placement system and its admission decisions are controlled solely by the university.
We reference USA names, tracks, and systems only to describe the placement process accurately. Nothing on this site should be read as an official statement from, or an agreement with, USA or CCNE.
What does your service actually do?
Our service sources and verifies a USA-approved preceptor and clinical site, helps complete Castle Branch (myCB) compliance, and works to get your placement logged in CAPS so you can move toward full admission. Under USA's student-led model, students are responsible for locating their own sites and preceptors, and identifying a placement is an admission gate: without a confirmed placement you may be admitted only conditionally and capped to limited support credit hours, and if a placement cannot be secured the remedy USA offers is transferring your earned credits to another school.
We assist with that placement work. A preceptor we help identify must be licensed in the specialty, USA-approved, and hold a minimum of one year of experience, consistent with USA's requirements.
Do you guarantee admission, a placement, or licensure?
No. We do not and cannot guarantee admission to USA, approval of any specific placement, graduation, certification, or licensure. Those outcomes depend on USA, the Alabama Board of Nursing, certifying bodies, and factors outside our control. USA itself gives no guarantee of approved placement under its student-led model.
What we commit to is doing the sourcing, USA-eligibility verification, and Castle Branch and CAPS legwork to secure and confirm a preceptor and clinical site. Whether the university grants full admission remains the university's decision.
Is the information on this site advice I can rely on?
The content on this site is informational only. We describe USA's placement process, tracks, and requirements to the best of our understanding, but requirements change, and details such as clinical hour counts and course numbers should always be confirmed against your current USA handbook and your program advisor. For example, the MSN FNP track is structured around 600 clinical practicum hours across three courses (CMN 573, 575, and 576), but you should verify all figures for your specific track directly with USA.
Nothing here is legal, financial, medical, or academic advice, and reading this site does not create a professional relationship until you engage our service.
How does payment work?
You pay only once your preceptor and clinical site are confirmed, not before. There is no charge simply for submitting a form or for us beginning the search. Across the market, independent NP preceptor placement runs roughly 1,500 to 2,500 dollars per rotation, with psychiatric and acute-care placements at the higher end.
Our fee covers our work alone: the sourcing itself, verification of USA eligibility, and the legwork inside Castle Branch and CAPS. Our fee is never a payment to the preceptor. Precepting is a professional service to the profession, and paying a preceptor for a clinical placement is not something we do or facilitate.
How do these terms change and how do I contact you?
We may update these terms as our service or USA's requirements change, and the current version always governs your use of the site. Continued use of the site or our service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
To reach us, reply to any message we send you. A dedicated WhatsApp and SMS contact line is pending; we will publish that number here once it is live and will not list a contact number before it is real.
Good to know
What happens if you cannot secure a placement for me?
If a preceptor and site are never confirmed, you do not pay our placement fee, since payment is due only when the match is confirmed. Separately, USA's own remedy when a placement cannot be secured is to let you transfer your earned credits to another school, which is a university decision, not ours.
Can you get me admitted to USA?
No. We cannot guarantee admission. We work to secure and confirm the USA-approved preceptor and site and to complete Castle Branch and CAPS steps, but full admission is decided solely by the University of South Alabama.
